Another Year of Making Wishes Come True

On Friday, October 4, Windermere’s Redding office will host its second annual fashion show and fundraiser at WinRiver Casino. The net proceeds raised will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeastern California and Northern Nevada, and the Alyssa Araiza Wings of Angels Organization in Redding, CA.

More Community Service Day Facebook Photo Challenge On June 21, Windermere offices in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii, and Utah all took a day off from selling homes to help make a difference in their local communities. Our offices were challenged to share photos and videos from their community service day event on the Windermere Real Estate Facebook page in turn for a $100 donation to the Windermere Foundation charity of their choice.

More June Perspectives This year’s Community Service Day took place on Friday, June 21. Windermere agents from Mukilteo to Missoula donated more than 55,000 hours of service to local projects at senior citizens centers, public parks and schools, low-income housing developments, and emergency shelters, among others.

More Grants for Camps – YMCA Summer Camp Scholarships for Homeless Youth and Families in Need Since 1993, the Windermere Real Estate North, Inc. office in Lynnwood, Washington has been building on its commitment to providing the opportunity for homeless kids to attend summer camp.

More Windermere Foundation First Quarter 2013 Summary The Windermere Foundation disbursed $357,000 to various programs throughout the first quarter of 2013, including 174 grants, with an average grant size of $2,063.

More 27th Annual Windermere Cup This year, we are excited to welcome Cornell University and Dartmouth College to the 27th annual Windermere Cup on Saturday, May 4, 2013. Historically, the Windermere Cup is part of the Seattle Yacht Club’s Opening Day of Boating Season celebration on Seattle’s Montlake Cut.

More Building Better Communities – March Edition Windermere offices throughout our network work with local organizations year-round to raise money for the Windermere Foundation and their local communities. In 2011, we launched the “Building Better Communities, One Home Sale at a Time” campaign, to raise awareness for some of the amazing community partnerships our offices and agents have developed.
