More Windermere Foundation First Quarter 2013 Summary The Windermere Foundation disbursed $357,000 to various programs throughout the first quarter of 2013, including 174 grants, with an average grant size of $2,063.
More 27th Annual Windermere Cup This year, we are excited to welcome Cornell University and Dartmouth College to the 27th annual Windermere Cup on Saturday, May 4, 2013. Historically, the Windermere Cup is part of the Seattle Yacht Club’s Opening Day of Boating Season celebration on Seattle’s Montlake Cut.

More Building Better Communities – March Edition Windermere offices throughout our network work with local organizations year-round to raise money for the Windermere Foundation and their local communities. In 2011, we launched the “Building Better Communities, One Home Sale at a Time” campaign, to raise awareness for some of the amazing community partnerships our offices and agents have developed.
More Windermere Kids: Raising money for afterschool programs On March 3, the Windermere Foundation and the YMCA will participate in the annual Husky Hoops free-throw fundraiser.

We have many stories (and raves!) to share with you about how your support of the Windermere Foundation translated into meaningful and necessary help for so many struggling families in 2012. Collectively, we raised an impressive $1,359,032. This is up 13% from 2011.

We’ve since realized that keeping families in their homes has many obvious benefits, so most of our support is now directed to programs with goals of preventing families from becoming homeless.

More Greater Seattle Eastside Offices Give $140,000 to Local Organizations When we work together, we truly can make a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors! Ten of our offices in the greater Seattle area team up every year for fundraising and giving. More Windermere Redding, Making Wishes Come True On Friday, October 5, Windermere’s Redding office will host its first annual Fashion Show and Fundraiser at the WinRiver Casino. The net proceeds raised will go to the local Make-A-Wish and Wings of Angels Foundations. Funds will be used to raise awareness about cancer and other illnesses, as well as to celebrate the strength of the area’s young survivors.

More Windermere Kids at the Y program update The Windermere Foundation has dedicated over 1.2 million dollars to this important cause—helping hundreds of kids through our first network-wide program. This unique partnership provides the YMCA with much-needed funds, as well as support from Windermere agents, who volunteer their time to assist with the summer camps and other kids’ activities.
