When exploring Vancouver Washington for a place to settled down my Oregon realtor was unable the help me. She quickly put me in touch with Connie Bovee, she said Connie has a good reputation among realtors and she has integrity and street smarts. I was not disappointed! Connie helped us find a beautiful home with the southern exposure, privacy and nature we were looking for and had good value. It was perfect! Lucky for me she steered me away from a few places that weren't smart investments (even though I thought I had to have them at the time! ). It was hard to be patient but I trusted her and BOY am I glad we did. We ended up with a fantastic house we really liked. Fast forward 5 years, we needed to move again and we asked Connie to help us sell the house. She helped us prep the house, she even provided names of all the people we would need to repair/upgrade/paint/clean etc. to show off the house to its best potential. I couldn't believe selling the house was going to be that easy. She helped coordinate a lot of it and it WAS that easy. I would say we got lucky in the selling of our home but in reality it came down to her helping us make a good investment in the first place (i.e. buying a desirable home in a desirable location at a good price), prepping the house adequately and timing the sale with market conditions. The outcome was a same day offer once put on the market (over our asking price). We ended up getting a return of over $100,000 on our original investment. I’ve bought and sold many homes over the years. Hands down, my most recent experience with Connie was the absolute best. She is proactive and knowledgeable; an expert in her field. It’s no wonder she is among the top real estate professionals in the area. Connie maintains relationships with industry trades people (also “5 Star”), who took care of anything that came up, quickly and efficiently. I’d also like to give a shout out to her assistant, Stephanie, who was also extremely helpful to me during this transaction. Both Connie and Stephanie made this particular sale as easy for me as possible (especially since it was all happening just as the Covid-19 shutdowns were starting to take place).
