Real Estate Experience
While I may be a ‘newly minted’ Broker my interest in Real Estate goes back to 1996 when I marketed and sold our family home in Yakima. Shortly after that I began providing photography and marketing support for a local Real Estate Broker here in Moses Lake at Dave Jones Real Estate. That led to me working for Jeff Foster as the photographer for his “Home Show” that ran on Cable Channel 3. That was the very infancy of digital photography…back then it took about an hour to get five photos emailed from Cascade Valley to his Advantage GMAC Office downtown! I dipped my toe in the Real Estate pool again in 2016 and 2017 while working at Windermere K2 providing photography and marketing support. I also added a commercial drone pilot’s license to my list photography skills and still hold that license today.
Personal Info
I was born in Seattle but moved to Hawaii while in kindergarten when Western Airlines opened a ‘hub’ in Honolulu. What my parents surely thought would be an extended vacation turned into a 17-year stay. I graduated from an all-girls private high school and completed three years at the University of Hawaii before moving back to Seattle and eventually graduating Cum Laude from the Edward R Murrow School of Communications at Washington State University…Go Cougs! After briefly working for KAPP and KVEW TV, the local ABC affiliate from the Tri-Cities/Yakima, I left to work for several industrial companies in the marketing and sales departments. In 1993 I married Pat Boss and we moved to Moses Lake in the middle of the big 1996 snow storm. While raising our two children here in Moses Lake I have coached their soccer teams, worked for the Moses Lake School District, and have been involved in several volunteer organizations including the BBCC Coop Preschool, The Boys and Girls Club, CB Cancer Foundation, ML Band Boosters, and served as Chairperson for the 2017 ML Choir Boosters Jazz Dessert Social and Auction. Our son is a fabulous jazz pianist and crypto currency trader currently living in Spokane and our daughter just graduated Cum Laude from WSU (go Cougs!) and will be starting graduate school in 2022. I have always loved looking at and talking about real estate (I admit to being a Zillow addict) and I’m looking forward to this next chapter of my career.
