We have worked with David Updike for each of our many real estate transactions in the Seattle area over many years. David is a great person to work with. In the current market, He was patient as we worked together for over 6 months before concluding with exactly what I wanted to settle with! He is professional and works with people, understands them & then gets into the market on what they would want and so on. He is patient with people, and also swift to move and gives advice well to a first time buyer like me which i found very valuable as well. David was our buyer's agent when we moved from Southern California to Seattle. He was incredible and his insight into different neighborhoods and real estate trends in those places made a very stressful and competitive market feel manageable. He patiently answered all of our questions and took us on a marathon weekend of open houses and appointments in totally different parts of the city. Despite the madness of the market, David made us feel like we still had agency and options about where we would and did find our home. We were referred to David by a friend when we moved to Seattle and he spent several days driving us around the city, acting as both tour guide and realtor. He showed us a ton of homes with infinite patience for our quirks and indecision. He was responsive at all times and helped us find and buy an amazing home before we even moved here.
