Kalyn was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. It's equipped with all the things she enjoys including her family, hikes, snowboarding, fishing, and lush green trees spanning for miles.  

Before getting into real estate, she worked at Starbucks full time, working mornings and going to school in the evenings to become an EMT. After passing then NREMT exam and volunteering at a local fire department for a year, she learned so much about these respectable people and had eye-opening experiences she never thought possible. A year later she realized this wasn't where her passion was although it was the most rewarding work she'd ever done.

Knowing her drive to help and teach others, she thought elementery education would be a fulfilling career choice so she went for it. After getting her teaching education under her belt through Arizona State University she went to work at a private school in Duvall, WA where she honed her skills and was able to mentor so many wonderful children. Unfortunately, once Covid-19 hit the school was forced to close indefinitely, leaving so many people in the dark wondering when it would re-open and to what extent. That's when Kalyn decided to get licensed as a Realtor, and it was a huge blessing in disguise.

Working at Windermere has been so much more than helping people buy and sell their homes. It's become a lifestyle, and an incredibly rewarding one. Kalyn got two listings in her first 5 months as an agent, and the properties sold after less than a week on market. She's continuously taking classes to further her knowledge and has doubled her sales consecutively each year. It brings Kalyn so much joy to advise her friends and family on the most important asset they have-their home.

Every Monday morning Kalyn studies the market-tracking Snohomish and King County for active, pending, and sold properties, including # of days on market so her clients can have a predictable outcome for their sale/purchase and get a sense of what's happening in this volatile housing market.
