Rene was incredibly patient, thoughtful and respectful of our wishes which changed through the process as we became more familiar with the area. Because we were relocating from out of town, we didn't know the Seattle area well. She took us all over creation to help us find a house, something we ultimately did in a very tight market. We could not have asked for more nor did we expect as much as she gave us.

We met Rene almost ten years ago at which time we were contemplating making a move to a larger house. We were not overly anxious to make a move quickly, especially since we were still wanting to stay on Queen Anne. Over these ten years, Rene was helpful, extremely patient and always available to answer questions related to houses we were interested in. While it took ten years to finally find a house that we are now going to call 'home', it was worth the wait. We can attribute a big part of this to Rene for making our buying and selling experience seamless with her care and professionalism. She is truly a class act and would highly recommend her.

When I decided to sell my house on Queen Anne, I knew I needed someone with lots of experience and someone that knew the area. I interviewed Rene Stern and I was very impressed with her presentation and professionalism. Throughout the process she was always there when I had questions.

Rene skillfully guided us through a condo purchase and home sale in a necessarily short time frame that we never would have thought possible. It would certainly not have been possible without her expert assistance. Her knowledge of the market and her strategic savvy in how to structure a purchase offer and where to set a sales price resulted in two successful transactions. Her access to resources from home maintenance to financing to inspectors to experts in evaluating condominium associations was invaluable and essential. Rene helped us purchase a house and sell a house, with the new house purchase contingent on the sale of our existing house. Rene did a great job of navigating the transactions and made this an easy process for us. She is very knowledgeable of the real estate market in Queen Anne and priced our house well, and we sold quickly and for above asking price. She kept us on track along the way and was good about communicating with us when there was something we needed to do. She was highly responsive and we never had an issue getting in touch with her, She did a very good job of negotiating for our new house, and we felt like we got a good deal. Overall we had a great experience and we would recommend Rene.

Rene has been fantastic to work with! I am a first time home owner with very specific ideas about the home I wanted. Rene worked tirelessly and very patiently with me over the course of a year. Always doling out excellent advice and never giving up the search. She has incredible in-depth knowledge of the market and was able to steer me away from potential problem homes.
Throughout the entire process and after closing she has helped with contractors and work that needs to be done on my new home.

Rene is also a kind and caring person, who went above and beyond in dealing with us. She listened to our concerns and gave us excellent advice. She responded quickly to any requests and kept us in the loop through the entire process.
Rene understood our budget for staging and recommended excellent pros who got the house ready for sale.

We recently listed our Queen Anne home with Rene and received an offer to buy 4 days after listing. We were out of town at the time, which could have been a disaster or at the very least, a nerve wracking experience. Rene is very knowledgeable and if she doesn't know something she'll find someone who does. She is extremely responsive and I appreciated knowing that when I needed her she would make it happen.
