Husband. Dad. Son-in-law. After his little girl was born, he and his wife moved to Alameda over 13 years ago and fell in love with the neighborhood architecture, friendly people and walkability of the island. Shannon was active at Alameda’s Otis Elementary School when his daughter was little. Now, he's learned the ropes of being a parent of a middle schooler at the Alameda Community Learning Center (ACLC) on the West End of the island. This fall, he'll become an Oakland School for the Arts parent cheering his daughter on in high school! 

In 2020, he completed his latest real estate project, all while dealing with Covid pandemic delays and supply chain issues. He navigated the city of Alameda’s challenging ADU (Accessory dwelling unit, aka “tiny house”) building process for his mother-in-law’s unit in the backyard of his home in Alameda. He learned first-hand what it takes to succeed with this kind of project.
