My name is Sophia de Groen Stendahl, and I want to warmly welcome you to Vashon Island, WA. My family has been involved in local real estate for over 25 years. I have been a broker, servicing my clients since 2008, and I've also been an owner of the Windermere office since 2011. With a solid foundation to build upon, I have created a thriving business cornered on my belief in expertise in my field, responsiveness to my clients, and my investment in their success. My clients are my friends, neighbors, and community members, and that certitude carries with it great purpose. My Windermere team shares these beliefs. Together, we broker the majority of Island real estate transactions, and in turn, we support nearly every Island organization by giving back through sponsorships and donations. Personal

Formerly a math teacher in Brooklyn, NY, I returned to Vashon with my Islander-husband and our two children to be closer to our families and join our real estate business. I graduated from Smith College with a BA, and a Masters in Education from Pace University. I enjoy spending time with my people, playing softball, and the arts.
