My Background and Experience
Before starting my career in residential real estate, I was an analyst for a commercial property developer, specializing in valuation of existing real estate portfolio and potential acquisitions. Prior to that, I did retail marketing and management for Timex Watch Company. The business acumen I developed in these two roles has enabled me to successfully represent buyers and sellers during seismic shifts in the real estate market over the past fifteen years. Having persevered through buyers’ markets, sellers’ markets, and everything in between, I am confident that I can deliver results for my clients in any climate.
My marketing, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential to creating value for my clients, but my focus on communication, problem solving and attention to detail are also critical components of my process. As a client, you can expect me to know your priorities and preferences, anticipate your needs, respond to questions and requests quickly and thoroughly, and keep the process moving smoothly. For buyers, I truly delight in finding a home and neighborhood you are excited to live in. And for sellers, I will work tirelessly to prepare your property for maximum appeal. Purchasing or selling a home is a significant financial decision and life event that I am uniquely skilled at handling. As a result, I am proud to have built a business that is fueled primarily by recommendations from past clients.
It's All About Community
Clients working with me get the benefit of a two-person team. I handle the majority of client interactions, but if you see a tall, handsome man staging your home or setting up open house signs, that’s my husband, Aaron. Having lived in many homes and several north Seattle / Shoreline neighborhoods during our single, married, and now family years, we understand that finding your perfect home starts with finding your perfect neighborhood. Our personal experiences with these communities, along with our professional associations and social connections, give us unique insight into the amenities and vibe of Seattle’s many pockets. Whether you’re moving from another zip code or another state, we are well prepared to help you find the neighborhood that is right for you.
We feel strongly about giving back to our community and we focus a lot of energy on improving options for Seattle's growing homeless population, both through the Windermere Foundation as well as in cooperation with other non-profit organizations.
Deep Experience With Design, Architecture, and Homes
After my family, community and design are my greatest loves (well, and binge watching TV dramas). In 2005, I followed my passion for architecture and design and joined Windermere Real Estate and 360 Modern, a consortium of brokers who specialize in modern homes. I spent my early days as a new agent scouring the neighborhoods for hidden midcentury modern gems. Soon enough, I developed a comprehensive knowledge of the different fun pockets of Seattle, not to mention a mental map of the best eateries. I parted ways with 360 Modern in 2017, but my experience with them taught me so much about the rich history of design in the Pacific Northwest. Over the years I have been incredibly fortunate to be invited into some of the most architecturally special homes in Seattle. This experience informs everything that I do, and helps me lock into what's special about ANY home that I list.
